Chicago Midway International Airport Parking

Chicago Midway International Airport has several options for parking varying from hourly to daily and garage or lot. The fees vary in accordance to the parking options.

When approaching the airport signs on the road will guide you to the different parking areas. Parking can be reserved before your arrival to secure a parking space. Tune in to 1630 AM within 2.5 miles of the airport for information about parking space availability.

If parking is needed for more than 30 consecutive days, please call the Parking Garage Office to make arrangements in advance as vehicles parked for more than 30 days otherwise will be considered as abandoned and may be towed at the expense of the owner.

Parking fees are calculated on the time of entering the parking facility and are ongoing from that time.

Disabled Accessible Parking is available in all the different parking options, for more information contact the Parking Garage Office, number listed below.

No vehicles that occupy more than one parking space are allowed to park in any of the Midway Airport parking areas.

Drop off and pick up

Travelers can be dropped off or picked up on curb side outside the concourses, but vehicles may not be left unattended. An unattended vehicle will be ticketed and towed at the owner’s expense.

There are a total of 164 parking spaces in the airport’s parking facilities divided as follows:

• Economy Garage - 75
• Economy Lot - 35
• Daily Lot - 11
• Terminal Garage - 55
• Cell Phone Lot - 6

Midway’s Parking Garage Office

The Parking Garage Office can be reached at +1 773 838-0756. Call them if you need assistance with your vehicle, such as a flat tire or jump start, your vehicle has been booted, you need parking for more than 30 days, or if you want information on Accessible Parking.

Economy Garage and Lot

There are two Economy parking options, the Economy Garage and the Economy Lot and there are free shuttle buses that run every 10-15 to and from each of them and the main Midway Terminal building. The bus stops are numbered so make sure to make a note on which bus stop you depart from so you find your way back easily.

Payments can be made with cash, MasterCard, Visa, American Express, Discover, Diners Club and Carte Blanch and are to be made to the cashier upon exiting the parking garage or lot.

Fees for Economy Parking:

• Up to 1 hour - $4.00
• 1 to 24 hours - $15.00
• Each 24 hour - $15.00

Information about Economy Garage:

• Location: West of S. Cicero Avenue and north of 55th Street.
• The garage is multi-leveled so please remember which level you are parked.
• The height clearance of the Economy Garage is 8’2”.

Information about Economy Lot:

• Location: 5050 West 55th Street, east of the Economy Garage.

Daily Lot

A long term parking lot located close to the airport terminal with a dedicated shuttle bus lane for express shuttle service to the terminal. The bus shelters and lighting are new as are the paving and the stripes on the parking surface.

Location: Northwest corner of 55th Street and Kilpatrick Avenue with the entrance on Kilpatrick Avenue.

Payments are credit card only and the Daily Lot features fully automated systems for credit card in and out.

Fees for Daily Lot:

• Up to 1 hour - $4.00
• 1 to 24 hours - $30.00
• Each 24 hour - $30.00

Terminal Garage – Hourly

• Location: The terminal garage adjacent to the airport terminal, Level 1.
• The hourly parking in the terminal garage is meant for short stays only.

Payments are made to the cashier, with either cash, MasterCard, Visa, American Express, Discover, Diners Club or Carte Blanche, upon exiting the parking garage.

Fee for Terminal Garage – Hourly:

• Up to 1 hour - $4.00
• 1 to 2 hours - $8.00
• 2 to 3 hours - $12.00
• 3 to 4 hours - $16.00
• 4 to 8 hours - $32.00
• 8 to 24 hours - $64.00

Terminal Garage – Daily

Location: Terminal Garage adjacent to the main terminal building, Levels 2-6.

Please make a note of which level you are parked on before exiting to the terminal.

Fee for Terminal Garage – Daily:

• Up to 1 hour - $4.00
• 1 to 2 hours - $8.00
• 2 to 3 hours - $12.00
• 3 to 4 hours - $16.00
• 4 to 8 hours - $20.00
• 8 to 24 hours - $40.00

Cell Phone Lot

Location: 61st and Cicero Avenue, just south of the main airport entrance, less than 4 minutes from the main terminal area.

For greeters that are waiting for arriving passengers to be ready for pick-up at the terminal.

Electric Vehicles – Charging Stations

There are a total of three level II EV charging stations at Midway Airport. One is in the Cell Phone Lot and the other two are in the Economy Garage.

The chargers are 240V, 7.2kW and are capable of charging an EV in 3-8 hours.
